For the Higgins Clarks, Suspense is a Family Affair

Best-selling suspense author Mary Higgins Clark published her first story when she was pregnant with her daughter, Carol. Now Carol is a famous author in her own right and the two even write books together. Their latest, Dashing Through the Snow, is a holiday mystery.

The two authors were recently interviewed on NPR, which you can listen to here. You can also find an excerpt from the book on NPR's website.

New items!

Here are some of the new materials that have just arrived at the library, just in time for the long weekend!

Happy holidays!

Dewey the cat

USA Today seems to be obsessed with Dewey the cat, whose life has been honored by both a best-selling book, Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World, and a new movie starring Meryl Streep. They have another story extolling the virtues of the library kitty (Dewey the cat, sittin' purr-ty).

Our copy of the book has been checked out for weeks, too.
